This song was written in response to recent decisions made by the US supreme court, which plainly demonstrate their goal of imposing a conservative Christian theocracy on the entire population.
If this seems unimportant to people outside the US jurisdiction, it is important to note there are people in every western democracy agitating for the same goals, in which women, LGBT+ and non-christian persons are second-class citizens under the law.
It is our position that religion has no place in a modern free-thinking society, and that any figures who interpret their millennia-old text as licence to subjugate an entire nation to their anachronistic beliefs must be resisted through any means available. This is one way we as three individuals are able to do so.
All proceeds from this recording will be donated to the National Network of Abortion Funds.
